To Honor and Celebrate!

Hanukkah and now Christmas, what a wonderful time of the year it is—a time of rededicating a holy temple and then celebrating a joyous occasion, the special birth of a human being who became the ultimate role model for how humans could live their lives on Earth.  And though many of us are still trying to understand more about our creator and more about our universe every day; with the help of Jesus, or Jeshua, long ago, we were able to move past the concept of many Gods to the more logical concept of one.  Then as time progressed, we scientifically learned more about those things we used to fear and worship, i.e., fire, the Sun.   Long ago, we were introduced to the concept that God’s kingdom is within us which gave us a new, much greater perspective on life.  For this meant if the kingdom of heaven was within us, we could not be separate from this omnipotent power many of us call God.   We too learned not to judge, for not one of us is perfect; neither do we always make the better choice.  Though, many of us are still casting our stones on a daily basis.  But one of the greatest gifts that Jesus gave us all was not only teaching us the art of ultimate forgiveness but showing us by example. When he was condemned and nailed to a cross, he said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

From Loved Promised, “The art of forgiveness is learned by the soul, manifested in human form, as a useful tool and positive emotion that brings us back in alignment with who and what we really are—pure love in motion.  When the majority of our society can learn the art of forgiveness, then and only then, we can raise the vibration of this planet.  When we learn that condemnation is born from the ego out of fear that keeps us from seeing the reality in ourselves, we will awaken and won’t feel a need to condemn anymore.”

Thank you Jesus, as we celebrate your birth, for bringing a new understanding to all of mankind and for teaching us this valuable lesson in life.

Indeed, it is a time to honor and celebrate and, more over, to keep this beautiful emotion of gratitude all throughout the year.   For this feeling of gratitude attracts more things in our life to be grateful for!

As Our World Continues to Revolve, So Do We Evolve… “Strive to be happy”

Mother Earth

Not an ending, but a new era beginning as our individual and collective consciousness continues to evolve while Mother Earth revolves!   Stunning new view from space video, click on link above, and you may want to read below some beautiful advice, one of my favorites:

The Desiderata

“Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; for they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.  Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.  With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful.  Strive to be happy.”

Battle of Armageddon – What do you believe?

And what I’ve come to believe is that what we call the Battle of Armageddon is not at the end, for there is no end or beginning, just infinity and eternity.  The Battle of Armageddon, more philosophically, is all throughout the journey of living in this world of duality.  It is the silent struggle of either listening to our ego mind or that soft voice within.  But I don’t like to think of it as a battle, for both are necessary to have this experience of being human.  The ego is symbolic of the darkness because it is blind to the truth, and the inner voice is the light leading us on the path.  The two are interwoven in this fabric of physicality. Sometimes we may need the ego to deal with life situations while living in this dichotomy of being human.  But in all cases, our inner voice is the one that, when listened to, will guide us to our destiny.  Knowing and understanding ourselves and how we truly operate is the key to loving ourselves.  And loving ourselves is necessary before we can truly love another or attract one other into our life where the love is exchanged equally—body, mind, and soul.

It was important many years ago, with the discovery of Newton’s laws of motion and their relation to gravity, that we understand the laws governing matter in order to cooperate with nature and to better mankind.  It is just as important now, that we must try to understand the laws of the non-physical universe and apply them in our life every day.  From a layman’s perspective, the most profound impact that the theory of quantum physics may have on the world, when we fully understand the concept, is giving us, as humans, the ability to see ourselves in our daily interactions with others.  I sincerely believe this is what can help lift the illusion our ego strives to understand and conquer or accept.  It will not only help us to look at ourselves through observant eyes but also out into the world with insightful eyes.  It can also help us to focus on what we want or need to change on an individual level.  Understanding how this works on a more scientific level can make it more believable for some.

Do you believe in reincarnation and spirit communication? (excerpt from Love Promised Intro)

The concepts of reincarnation and spirit communication are the main subjects of this book, which is being written primarily for two reasons.  First, so that the material could be officially documented and put into a time capsule to be opened mid-year 2067; and second, to help anyone else who has had similar experiences and might be more at peace and even somewhat enlightened by reading the material.

The above terms are absolutely intuitive to most metaphysical students, but to others, some explanation might be necessary since one’s basis of knowledge could be very different from another’s.  I will attempt to offer these concepts at a very elementary level.  Webster’s refers to the word spirit as “an animating or vital principle held to give life to physical organisms.”  The communication mechanism to which I am referring is psychic communication.  Much like we accept that radio waves transmit signals from one location to another or from a sender to a receiver, a psychic wave, if you will, is the link that allows thoughts to be transmitted across space and time or, one might even say, outside of space and time as we know it.  According to Webster’s, one who is considered psychic is “a person apparently sensitive to nonphysical forces” and it’s my guess the word apparently has to be used since it is not proven according to popular belief nor, thus far, by scientific means.  And, of course, people are still trying to prove that they love each other too, right?

Hurricane Sandy—Is All In Divine Order?

Just recently in the Huffington Post, an article was entitled, “Hurricane Sandy Presents Complex Questions about God for Clergy and the Faithful as Victims Cope.”  In it was a link to an article where Midwestern protestant pastors were quoted as saying this natural disaster was punishment by God.  A response by a Jesuit priest stated that people were idiots for thinking this way—and an author is quoted as saying, “God is moral, nature is not.”

Consciousness is evolving but at a very slow pace, it seems. At moments like this, whether it’s a natural disaster or human killing humans, it is hard to believe all is divine order.  However, if we continue to give this omnipresent, omnipotent power, that we call God, human attributes, we are never going to understand the world in which we live.  It’s time to move past the mentality that God punishes the wicked and bestows good only to those in his favor.  Centuries ago, we moved past the multiple God theory, now it’s time to really discover who and what God is…and we can only discover that by discovering who we are, Hence, the ancient precept by Socrates, “Know Thyself.”

In this fabric of physicality, we humans create our own destiny.   But, the majority of us still only use the five physical senses to perceive the world around us.  To the soul, this world is an illusion and we are like actors on a stage—the stage of life.  God allows us to experience this world of duality, i.e. good, evil; hot, cold, and in doing so, we write our own play. All the while, our soul is aware of its perennial existence with God, which like energy can never be created or destroyed. Though, we’ve become so accustomed to identifying ourselves with the costume we put on in this life; we forget that it is just a play.  We must stop pointing fingers, judging and condemning.  And blaming God for our plight in life is like blaming the maker of the Mario Brothers game because we died and didn’t make it to the next level.  Like the ebb and flow of tides, there will always be the so-called good and so-called bad in this dimension.  God is not moral, nor unjust…God simply is.  And this beautiful force that drives it all is greater than any love we can know on Earth.

A New Age of Enlightenment?

Just recently, it was exciting to hear that the John Templeton Foundation awarded a University of California, Riverside, philosophy professor $5M to study the afterlife over a three-year period.  This study has been entitled, The Immortality Project.  Even though the professor himself doesn’t believe in an afterlife, he does deem the subject worthy of academic research.  Not setting out to prove or disprove, if the research is valid, however, in my opinion, they may just find much more than they bargained for.  Regardless, it’s exciting to know that this topic is being taken seriously by a large group of inquiring minds, outside of the religious spectrum, to invest this amount of money.

It seems that science and academics  once again can no longer turn their heads to the number of out-of-body experiences (OBEs) and near-death experiences (NDEs) being reported today.    Just within the last year or so, both a female physician and more recently a male Harvard neurosurgeon, neither believing in the NDE experiences of others, both now have had an NDE.  They claim to have been very much aware of themselves in another existence outside of their body where at least one communicated with other beings.  Did these experiences, now being reported by respected intellects of our time, inspire the study?  Quite possibly.  Interesting to note, Dr. Bruce Greyson, a psychiatrist with the University of Virginia Medical School, didn’t believe in NDEs either when he first began his study over 30 years ago and has now written papers and books in support of these experiences.

Could our time period be equated to the of the Age of Enlightenment where intellectual minds of the 18th century, such as Immanuel Kant, began to explore human consciousness through reason, outside of traditional thinking?  The word paranormal conjures up all sorts of ideas in people’s minds even though it simply means to look beyond what it typically considered normal.  Innovation gives birth to new ideas and requires looking outside of the box regardless of whether it is new technology or an idea that has been handed down through centuries in our philosophies and religions.  As humans, we typically fear what we don’t understand.   Over 400 years ago, Sir Isaac Newton was accused of delving into the occult when he was trying to help his fellowman understand this “invisible” force of gravity.  Could it be that 400 years from today, or even sooner, the afterlife will be better understood?  Dr. Michael Persinger, of the Laurentian University in Sudbury, Canada, who is performing research on OBEs, has been quoted as saying, “For the last 400 years, the paranormal included what in large part is science today, so that’s the fate of the paranormal, it becomes science and it becomes normal.”  In light of new philosophical reasoning, will academics then use empirical knowledge from this study to provide a better understanding of what we call the afterlife?  Let’s hope so!  And, for certain, I look forward to this report and its findings in 2015.

Albert Einstein speculated, “We still do not know one-thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us.”

Spirit Communication

Excerpt from the introduction:

Now, even among those who may be prone to believe it is possible to communicate with someone in spirit, there may be some who feel we still don’t fully understand the process. This may be true, but it doesn’t negate the fact that a good number of people believe it happens. And, are there not just too many synchronicities and supposed coincidences not to pay more attention to what could be happening, and then explore, so we can know and understand?

It also stands to reason that one doesn’t have to fully understand the source of all being, to recognize and appreciate the beauty of Earth’s creations that are far beyond man’s ability to create. This omnipotent power has been given many names, e.g., God, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, and is sometimes even referred to as Spirit, or simply X. From here on, I will refer to our source of being as God, since this verbiage is the most familiar. Wouldn’t God want us to comprehend the source of all being so we could understand ourselves more? As the Bible (King James Version) tells us in Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom; and with all thy getting, get understanding.”

I can still hear the echo of those words from my father. So, if spirit communication were not possible; or if possible, should be avoided, then how or why would biblical prophets or angels have spoken with us in the far distant past in order to impart their knowledge or prophecy that is also written in the Bible? Should we have not listened to them then? Should we then not believe these stories in the Bible? Could there possibly be prophets among us today who are just not yet acknowledged as prophets?

Did Shakespeare Know Much More Than He Could Say?

Recently on Facebook I noticed someone shared, from the GodVine page, a photo of a little girl leaning with her back against a building and with her face hidden by her hair as her head hung low.  It was dark and raining.  Below the photo was an unidentified quote that read, “Do not judge, you never know what storm I’ve asked her to walk through” – God.

I thought to myself, who could not look at this photo and have compassion spill over in their hearts.  The quote may satisfy some and they may go about their way.  For others, questions continue to abound such as, “What happened to this little girl?”  Or “How does God ask this little girl to walk through a storm and yet not another who has loving parents and is taking ballet lessons?”  Storms as we know can come in various forms -Addiction, abuse, poverty, physical malformation, just to name a few.

Possibly Shakespeare was trying to tell us something. Is life truly a stage where we can wear various costumes in many different plays one after the other? And, all the while the larger part of our soul remains in heaven with God? Are these our timelines and is that just one lifetime for this little girl in the photo?  If looking at life through only a human’s eyes, life seems so unfair.  In light of this, if it is indeed true, can the ego ever really know enough to judge?

Yes, I do believe Shakespeare knew much more than he could share with these words …”All the world is a stage, and all the men and women merely players.”  Would it help to understand more, if there is more to understand?

Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom; and with all thy getting, get understanding.”

What’s the Purpose?

Excerpt from Chapter Three

Eventually, we started asking questions about how and why this was happening. Russell, just how does this work—is it one or both of us whose hands need to be on the oracle? Both energies, electrons, energy and heat moving very fast. Ron and I did talk about how warm we seem to get when we communicate. Put your hands on your forehead, feel the heat. And truthfully, most times we had to lower the AC or the heat. Once someone mentioned blindfolding ourselves as a test and Russell told us that our eyes needed to see what our minds were spelling out, once he impinged the thoughts onto our brain.

And truthfully, the oracle would move so fast that we needed someone writing down the letters that were sounded out to be clear on what we were being told. If the sentence was long, we had to put slashes between the letters to figure out the words as the oracle didn’t pause between them. With reference to the high pitches Ron and I sometimes hear in our ears, including the warmth, while on the board, Russell said Yes, telepathically, you are fast but my subatomic vibration makes it hard for you to hear me.

Later, we started digitally recording the sessions when it was just Ron and me, as Russell said he wanted to have some private sessions too. He said he could focus his energy better. Sometimes he would go so fast, we couldn’t keep up and he would apologize and start over. Other times the words would come to us before he finished spelling them out. If we ever tried it with a different combination of people, Ron and I were told to get back on.

We also asked if he had to filter information he gives to us through the personal guides we had heard we all have. He then told us…Yes, and I can tell you anything as long as it does not change your destiny. And whereas he had told us before that he couldn’t access some information in the beginning, he later told us he had moved up a level and his IQ had doubled. Still, there are some things I am not allowed to say.
